Father Jimmy is upset because Bishop Strickland is warning his flock about the Sulfuric Synod. In a pastoral letter, His Excellency noted that “some will label as schismatics those who disagree with the changes being proposed. Be assured, however, that… those who would propose changes to that which cannot be changed … are indeed the true schismatics.
What up, Jimmy? Is the Bishop talking about you, maybe?
The sycophants are the ones creating controversy here – not Bishop Strickland, who is merely doing his job by calling a spade a spade no matter who's using it to bury God.
Famed scripture scholar, Dr. Scott Hahn, doesn’t see a problem, either. He tweeted out “I am grateful for Bishop Strickland’s inspiring words” – words which encouraged us all to “remain unabashedly and truly Catholic, regardless of what may be brought forth. We must be aware also that it is not leaving the Church to stand firm against these proposed changes.”
Uh-oh. So that brought down the wrath of Pachamama on Dr. Hahn, who was excoriated by the usual useful idiots ever since. Bishop Strickland, after all, was “stirring up controversy.” Say it isn’t so! But stirring up controversy with whom? Serious Catholics know that Bishop Strickland is right to warn against a Synod which the late Cardinal Pell called a “toxic nightmare.”
Which reminds me: Why are these little sycophants picking a fight with Bishop Strickland when what he said is not nearly as "controversial" as Cardinal Pell’s “toxic nightmare” or Cardinal Muller’s “hostile takeover” comments?
The sycophants are the ones creating controversy here – not Bishop Strickland, who is merely doing his job by calling a spade a spade no matter who's using it to bury God.
God bless Bishop Strickland and please watch and share my new Remnant Underground which dives headlong into the REAL controversy in the Church today: Team Francis’s hostile takeover of the Catholic Church.
