This page is reserved for those who saw what happened, or heard what happened from those who did, and who truly understand how Catholic families were blown apart. RTV Covers Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome
Remnant TV was in Rome this past week covering the Vatican’s clerical sexual abuse summit on the “protection of minors”. It seemed a dismal assignment, to be sure, but the reason it was necessary for The Remnant to be in the Eternal City was so we could throw in with our traditional Catholic allies in Rome who’d organized an act of formal resistance to the Vatican sham summit.
Going in, we all knew that the ultimate goal of the summit was to establish child abuse—not rampant homosexuality in the priesthood—as the main cause of a crisis in the Catholic Church which now rivals that of the Protestant Revolt. (Remnant TV coverage of this event as well as the Vatican summit itself, can be found on The Remnant’s YouTube channel, and for your convenience is laid out below:View items...

“This is magisterium: the Council is the magisterium of the Church. Either you are with the Church and therefore you follow the Council, and if you do not follow the Council or you interpret it in your own way, as you wish, you are not with the Church. We must be demanding and strict on this point. The Council should not be negotiated in order to have more of these... No, the Council is as it is.” (Francis, January 30, 2021 Address)
A significant part of the articles and discussions held in traditional and conservative Catholic circles describe and lament the current situation of both the world and the Church. If we notice that unlike the era before the French Revolution (1789), in our times sin has not only become widespread but has also been institutionalized through so-called “laws” that directly contradict the Ten Commandments and the Christian Gospel, this is an easily understandable fact. Instead of attempting to describe the extent of the social and institutional disaster of our days, I will simply state that everything proves the truth of the words of the Saint John, the Eagle of Patmos, who affirms that “the whole world is seated in wickedness” (1 John 5: 19). But what is the root of such a situation? What is lacking in the Church and the world today? The answer, I think, is self-evident: saints. We lack saints.
Blessed Pius IX’s words about “liberty of conscience and worship” from his 1864 encyclical, Quanta Cura, likely sound familiar to many faithful Catholics:
"Liberty of conscience and worship is each man’s personal right, which ought to be legally proclaimed and asserted in every rightly constituted society.”

In this edition of The Remnant Underground, Michael puts the fourth indictment of Donald Trump into perspective, noting that this has little to do with Trump and everything to do with the Globalists’ plot to cancel America.
To that end, this episode also includes an impassioned plea from Michael Matt to stand and defend the family. As the entire Globalist experiment is all about cancelling marriage and the family, nothing is more important than that.
While it has always been the case that fallen human beings are prone to both lying and believing lies, many of us have observed a remarkable increase in the propensity of seemingly intelligent people to believe preposterous lies in recent years. In many instances, those of us who have refused to believe those lies have been ostracized by family members, colleagues, and those we had considered friends. How, we must ask, do these otherwise normal people not only believe these preposterous lies but also defend them as though their lives depended upon it?
What Does the Asch Conformity Experiment Tell Us about Francis, the 2020 Election, and the Covid-19 Atrocities?By: Robert Morrison | Remnant Columnist
Any person who constantly participates in the Holy Mass hears and learns both the Greater Doxology, “Gloria in excelsis Deo…” (Luke 2: 14), and the Lesser Doxology, “Gloria Patri, et Filio et Spiritui Sancto.” Especially the latter is very often used in both the context of personal, private prayers, and during the Sacraments and Holy Mass. This fact faithfully mirrors the content of the Holy Scriptures, where the notion of „glory” appears hundreds (if not thousands) of times. As a comprehensive mystical synthesis of the entire Bible, the Apocalypse of Saint John emphasizes who is the rightful recipient of the glory:
“Thou art worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory, and honour, and power: because thou hast created all things; and for thy will they were, and have been created.” (Apoc. 4: 11)
In his 1846 encyclical, Qui Pluribus, Blessed Pius IX charged the Church’s shepherds with protecting the purity of the Catholic Faith:
“So, in accordance with your pastoral care, work assiduously to protect and preserve this faith. Never cease to instruct all men in it, to encourage the wavering, to convince dissenters, to strengthen the weak in faith by never tolerating and letting pass anything which could in the slightest degree defile the purity of this faith.”

The Communists, the anti-Gospel and the anti-Church
In the recent years of these turbulent times, the number of articles presenting the insights of Bishop Fulton Sheen regarding the anti-Christ has multiplied. His interest is particularly linked to the impact that the Marxist-Leninist ideology, globally spread by the Communist Party, had both before and after the Second World War. Speaking about the polarization that will characterize that final period of history before the second coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ, he seems to see in the “red” ideology the binding force that will unite all those who will form the (anti)mystic body of the ultimate enemy of the Savior. This is what he implies when he refers to those united in evil as “comrades in anti-Christ.” However, of the greatest interest is the description he proposed for the “son of perdition.” Presented for the first time in a radio broadcast on January 26, 1947, and later included in the texts collected in the volume Communism and the Conscience of the West published in 1948, he begins by emphasizing how the anti-Christ will not be:
“The Antichrist will not be so called; otherwise he would have no followers. He will not wear red tights, nor vomit sulphur, nor carry a trident nor wave an arrowed tail as Mephistopheles in Faust.”
Almighty and eternal God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we kneel before Your Majesty, and thank You from the depth of our soul for the inestimable gift of the Catholic Faith, which you have deigned to reveal to us through Jesus Christ, True God and True man. We received this divine light in holy baptism and have promised You to keep this faith inviolate until death.
Increase in us the gift of the Catholic Faith. By Your grace, may it be strengthened and made unshakeable. Daily increase in us the understanding of the beauty and profoundness of the Catholic Faith, that we might live in the deep joy of Your divine truth and be ready to sacrifice all things rather than compromise on or betray this faith. Grant us the grace to be resolved to undergo a thousand deaths for even one article of the Creed.
Graciously receive from us sinners an act of humble reparation for all the sins committed against the Catholic Faith by the laity and clergy, especially by high-ranking clergy who, contrary to the solemn promise they made at their Ordination to be teachers and defenders of the integrity of the Catholic Faith, have become champions of heresy, poisoning the flock entrusted to them and gravely offending the Divine Majesty of Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Truth.
Grant us the grace to see all the events of our life, and the immense trials our Holy Mother Church is now undergoing, in the supernatural light of faith. May we believe that You will cause to arise from today’s vast spiritual desert a renewed flourishing of faith that will adorn the garden of the Church with new works of faith and give rise to a new age of faith.
We firmly believe that the Catholic Faith is the one true faith and religion, which you invite every person freely to embrace. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the destroyer of all heresies, and the great Martyrs and Confessors of the faith, may the Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Faith triumph again in the Church and the world, so that no soul may be lost but rather come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, the only Saviour of mankind, and through a right faith and righteous life attain eternal beatitude in You, O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. To You be given all honour and glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
