We’ve Still Got Time! (Michael Matt Answers Your Questions about Trump 2024)

New from Remnant TV...

Heresy in Singapore? Pope Francis reaches new heights of pluralistic absurdity, claiming all religions are basically equal.

Meanwhile, the most conscientious voters in America are the Christians who have the most to lose if Trump loses to Harris. Right now, they are debating the pros and cons of voting for Trump after the GOP compromise on life.

eblast promptObviously, most of them absolutely want Trump to beat Harris in November. Nevertheless, what some of them are concerned about is the moral compromise, which may be covered by Catholic principles such as the “lesser of two evils” and the “principle of double effect.” And that’s what they’re trying to hammer out, now, before the election, while there’s still time.

Every serious pro-lifer should join in this discussion, especially now – nearly two months out – when there is still time to change the situation. The Democrats just changed their CANDIDATE a few weeks ago. Surely the Republicans can still discuss reversing the dangerous revisions to the GOP platform that many believe will lead to another Trump defeat in November.

Remnant TV is among the few voices still willing to discuss both sides of what Catholic philosopher Edward Feser calls a “moral dilemma” for social conservatives.

Michael Matt takes your questions and sets the context for why good people – most of whom are enthusiastic supporters of Donald Trump – suddenly find themselves struggling with conscience, not merely over November’s election but over the future of Bible-based social conservatism in America itself.
