As Advent slips away, I hasten to ask friends and subscribers to consider helping The Remnant out this Christmas.  The cost of newsprint and postage is ever on the increase, especially as printing companies struggle to compete with online content distribution systems, inducing more and more newspapers to either go out of business or switch over entirely to an electronic option.

I have no intention of doing either, but I do need a little help. If you’re not already a subscriber to The Remnant, please consider remedying that as soon as possible.

If you’re already a print subscriber, please consider adding an E-edition—a $25 annual investment, which delivers the Remnant Newspaper to your computer, smart phone or tablet. It’s also a great way to support The Remnant since the cost of E-edition production is minimal.

If you’ve tried the E-edition already but didn’t understand how it works, please take my word for it (as a less than tech-savvy guy) that it really is easy to use and loaded with attractive options such as the audio option (which allows you to listen to every Remnant article), translation services into every language imaginable, and a nice online archive of past issues.

We just produced a new how-to video for the E-edition (below), which we’ll be posting on the landing page for our E-edition this week. If you check that out and spend a few minutes poking around, I’m sure you’ll agree that this really is a nice addition to our subscription services.

If you have any problems, just email our support team: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

As part of this campaign to support The Remnant by promoting the E-edition, we’re offering a free e-subscription with every new print subscription ordered this Christmas. That’s a $65 value for which you’ll pay only $40.

Thank you for giving The Remnant this Christmas. It really is a great way to support the Catholic cause and also to keep the Remnant going.

The Remnant Foundation

As always, please do keep The Remnant in mind for your end-of-the-year charitable contributions. The Remnant Foundation is tax-exempt:

The Remnant Foundation
PO Box 1117, Forest Lake, MN 55025

You can also help keep The Remnant in operation by making a tax-deductible donation here and now.

What Happens When Remnant TV Gets Thrown Off YouTube?

We have a number of different projects going right now that need your help – Remnant TV especially. Our last five “From the Editor’s Desk” programs on RTV topped 300,000 views in just over one week. But it’s only a matter of time before the Google-owned YouTube takes steps to eliminate “hateful” channels like ours.

I’m in conversation right now with experts who tell me it is possible to host RTV on a network that provides service as good or better than that offered by YouTube. It’s not cheap, but it’s not out of reach, either.

Any donation to The Remnant Foundation can be earmarked for Remnant TV, which is growing so fast we can hardly keep up. We use RTV to promote The Remnant’s brand and thus to support and strengthen the newspaper, as well.

So, this Christmas, please consider a donation to The Remnant Foundation.

Since the Remnant still operates with a low overhead and a volunteer staff (mostly my children) I can guarantee your donation will be put to immediate good use.  There’s obviously a war on right now, but here at The Remnant we remain absolutely committed to fighting back.

In fact, to help us launch the new #ResistFrancis campaign, and to send Francis a message this Christmas, why not order your Tee-Shirt today from The Remnant Store:

Enough’s enough, Your Holiness.

And finally, if I could ask that, in your charity this holy season, please remember to pray for this apostolate.

We are in the planning stages for some fairly significant expansion in 2020, and more than anything else we need your support and your prayers during this most difficult time for Holy Mother Church.

My wife and children and I pray for readers of the Remnant during the rosary each night, and it would mean so much to us if you could remember The Remnant in your prayers also, especially during the Christmas season.

God bless you, happy Advent, and keep the old Faith.
