column.
We encourage readers to take advantage of this
column to
express
sentiments of agreement or disagreement with our
editorial positions or
to
introduce completely unrelated issues for discussion.
Due to the number of letters received, not
all of them can
be
published and we reserve the right to edit letters for
content and
size.

ask that
letters
be short (no more than 300 words) as lengthy letters are
less likely to
be
published.
Letters must be signed, dated and the city of
origination must be
provided.
However, upon request, we will publish letters whose
authors have
requested
anonymity, so long as the name and city are provided
initially.
