Now, my opinion of the Vatican declaration on “blessing same-sex COUPLES” (as Father James Martin puts it) is just that – my opinion. In this new Underground, I don’t waste your time telling you what I think of the document. Because, well, who cares, right?
Similarly, I don’t particularly care what you think of it, either, or, for that matter, any of the popesplainers assuring us that there’s nothing to see here, and that Fiducia Supplicans is just one, big, glorious, papal defense of Christian marriage. That’s their opinion. Good for them!
This is one of those instances where lay Catholics get to let ourselves off the hook, since this is not about us. We didn’t write the Declaration, and neither did we ask for it to be written. The only thing that matters is how it is being received by those to whom it is principally addressed: The Bishops of the Catholic Church, who have to decide whether or not they are bound before God to obey its recommendations.
I stand with the African Bishops who at this moment are the only ones standing between us and Agenda 2030.
And how are the Bishops reacting to this Declaration? The Bishops’ Conferences of Hungary, Poland, Kazakhstan, most of the countries in Africa, etc., have denounced it in no uncertain terms. In this week’s Underground, we have the clips including one featuring an archbishop in Africa who calls it “heresy” and apologizes to the people in his diocese for the scandal the Declaration has caused them -- a Declaration, His Eminence points out, that was “signed by Pope Francis.”
Think of it: Right now, entire bishops’ conferences are resisting Francis to his face. This has never happened before. So why is this not dominating headlines worldwide?
I stand with the African Bishops who at this moment are the only ones standing between us and Agenda 2030. How so? Well, to answer that, I go into the pending EU-ACP Treaty which, if passed, will force the pro-death, anti-Christian, LGBT ideology of the EU on every country in Africa. Simply put, Fiducia Supplicans signals a change in attitude on the part of the Vatican that will push Catholic Africans under the bus for the sake of the Gates Foundation and the WHO.
This is HUGE! So please share this video everywhere while there’s still time to stop the EU Treaty.
Happy New Year.
