CATHOLIC COUNTERREVOLUTION: A Love Story

Michael Matt's video address to the International Symposium held in Tokyo, the theme of which is "Counter-revolution, a medicine for our times."

Indeed, it is a medicine, agrees Michael, but it is also an honor borne out of love.

"You are here today," says Michael, "in the first place because you’ve known since childhood that the soul of Catholic Counterrevolution is love. The thing that has the power to transform even weak men like us into Catholic counterrevolutionaries, soldiers of Jesus Christ, crusaders ready to die for something that world tells us is already dead -- is love for the faith.

"What induces us to risk everything for the holy Cause of counterrevolution today is that love. We fight in defense of what we love more than everything else in this life – God, family, holy tradition, the stories of our Faith, the heroes of our Faith."
