Obama PharoahA popular conservative radio host with a daily audience of 20 million is known for describing Liberalism as a mental disorder; or put another way: Liberals are lunatics. From a purely natural point of view this would seem to be the best explanation for the radical unreasonableness of liberals. Liberals defy reason, even acting against their own good

But the natural point of view is too shortsighted to fully account for the irrational thinking and behavior of liberals in modern times. Through the lens of the supernatural view, however, we are able to discern that modern liberalism is not simply a matter of being out of one’s mind but of being out of one’s soul. The demonic praeternatural realm is at the base of this malady. Truly, Liberalism is a diabolical disorder.

Now the word Liberalism is variously defined so you may wonder what definition we have in mind. But sometimes it is more effective to define something by examples rather than by precise definition. So let’s examine two recent examples of modern Liberalism that utterly defy any common sense and rationality.

In April of this year one of the nation’s largest retailers announced, "We welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity. Everyone deserves to feel like they [sic] belong." Despite widespread protests from consumers and a loss of revenue and stock value as a result of this decision, Target has doubled down on its position.

Then in May, on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, the Obama Administration pushed its own version of perversion in a letter sent to every public school district in the nation, extorting them to comply with new guidelines governing bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, sleeping accommodations and sports. All public schools must accommodate transgendered students in all facilities and activities or forfeit federal funding. The timing and nature of this letter are sober reminders that the Fatima prophecies are reaching a climax.

On multiple levels these two recent examples demonstrate that a diabolical disorientation is in play. The acceptance and protection of transgenderism is a perversity contrary to divine law and nature law; the invasion of the most private areas and activities of our lives by sexual deviants is an obscenity against modesty; the accommodation of opposite sex individuals literally opens the doors and stalls to predatory behavior. A parole officer on a call-in radio program stated that one of her reformed sex-offender parolees told her that if he were still sexually stalking women, he would be targeting women’s restrooms at Target.

No one should be surprised any longer by the radical words and actions of organizations like Target and individuals like Obama. They are consistent, after all, in manifesting an out-of-their-soul condition. One is reminded of another consistent lost soul, who brought ruin upon himself and an entire people: Pharaoh, the unnamed but infamously known biblical Pharaoh of Egypt who reigned in the period of the Exodus.

Despite all the divine warnings and the physical calamities that were brought upon him and his people, Pharaoh remained obstinate in his refusal to accommodate the religious rights of the Israelites. Yes, from ancient times to the present we see that wicked leaders are more than willing to accommodate the rights of sexual perverts but not the rights of true religion. So what might we learn from the Pharaoh of Egypt?

Well for one thing, despite what Pope Impostor Primus claims about divine mercy being unconditional and extending to everyone, it is clear that in the case of Pharaoh divine grace and mercy were absent. An expression that is repeated over and over again some sixteen times in the biblical account of the Exodus is that God had “hardened the heart” of Pharaoh. In reality this means that God had withdrawn all his grace from the wicked man so that he was thoroughly corrupted: blind in his thinking and hardened in his will. Pharaoh became so hardened in his heart that not even his magicians and servants could reason with him:

The magicians tried by their secret arts to bring forth gnats, but they could not. And the magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God." But Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he would not listen to them.

And Pharaoh's servants said to him, "How long shall this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve the Lord their God; do you not yet understand that Egypt is ruined?"

The Last Word suggests that like the ancient Pharaoh of Egypt, the CEO of Target and the President of the United States and other radical liberals who think and act like them have hardened hearts. God may have withdrawn from them his grace that would otherwise allow them to be reasonable and godly. And just like Pharaoh the CEO and the President have shown themselves to be absolutely resolute in their evil.

So in this parallel between an ancient Pharaoh and two modern liberals, we can get at the probable cause of their irrational and immoral thinking and behavior, namely, hardened hearts. But perhaps even more concerning to us than the cause of their behavior may be a parallel between the effects, namely, utter ruin.

Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its wonted flow when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled into it, and the Lord routed the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen and all the host of Pharaoh that had followed them into the sea; not so much as one of them remained. But the people of Israel walked on dry ground through the sea, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. Thus the Lord saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the seashore.

Without doubt God will save a remnant of the faithful in modern times as he did in times past but as for America and other godless nations, remember the fate of the Egyptians.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
