New from Remnant TV...

Michael J. Matt presents a prayer to the Mother of God, asking her to baptize with her tears the victims of abortion and to sing to them tonight in paradise.

In commemoration of the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day (Jan. 22) and in gratitude to President Donald Trump--the first president in US history to attend the National Right to Life March in Washington, D.C.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, ask Him to forgive for what we've done and for what we've become.

St. Timothy was born in Lystra in Lycaonia of a gentile father and a Jewish mother, and was a follower of the Christian religion when the Apostle Paul visited that city.

Paul was so moved by what he repeatedly heard of Timothy’s holiness that he took him with him as a companion on his journeys. When they both arrived at Ephesus, the Apostle ordained him bishop to govern the Church there.

The January 2020 Acies Ordinata had two parts: 1) A silent prayer demonstration just down the street from Cardinal Marx's residence, designed to establish the prayerful and militant setting for Part 2: A press conference in which the traditional Catholic resistance was laid out for members of the press by interventions presented by Roberto de Mattei, John-Henry Westen, John Smeaton, Jeanne Smits, Alexander Tschugguel, Jose Ureta and Michael Matt, followed by an extensive Q&A session.

In this video, Michael J. Matt presents his intervention, as a German-American Catholic, against the elitism of the German Bishops Conference which would elevate German opinion over and above Scripture, Canon Law and the word of Christ Himself when it comes to questions such as women priests, celibacy and gay unions.

Edward Pentin:  MUNICH — Lay faithful from around the world stood for an hour in silent prayer in the center of the Bavarian city of Munich today to ask Pope Francis and Germany’s bishops for “clarity and coherence” and an end to “dissimulation and deception.”

The group of around 130 laity, including Germans, Italians, Americans, Austrians, Brazilians, Canadians and Chileans, made the appeal due to concerns about the German bishops’ two-year “synodal path” that fully gets underway with its first general assembly on Jan. 30.

Michael Matt/RTV joins the Catholic "clans" in Munich, Germany, where Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò made a surprise appearance to stand with traditional Catholic resistance to the German Bishops' attempt to implement the errors of the Amazon Synod throughout the whole Church.

This Acies Ordinata event was not about numbers, by the way. It was done by personal invite to journalists and representatives of Catholic action groups around the world. The event was held within a stone's throw of Cardinal Marx's residence and was in direct resistance to his agenda. If this event had been advertised beforehand, there is a very good chance it would have been blocked.

Representatives of the many different Catholic action groups around the world will unite in Munich, Germany today in a peaceful demonstration of silent but prayerful protest against the German Bishops' Conference "synodal way".

This synodal way, based on the Amazon Synod, threatens to set up rules for its own national Church where women ordination is not out of the question, where the abolition of clerical celibacy is certainly on the agenda and where many of the most radical and revolutionary ideas would be ramrodded through in Germany and thus set universal precedents in the Catholic Church throughout the world.

Dear Friends: I hope you enjoy this first RTV 'From the Editor's Desk" of the New Year. I really tried to set the tone for 2020 by putting Francis into the historical context of the Revolution of Vatican II and the Ape of Christendom -- the New World Order.

New Year's Resolution from Remnant TV...

2020 pope too big

As Pope Francis’s popularity among practicing Catholic falls to new lows, RTV releases a New Year’s resolution video, vowing to resist him

As Pope Francis’s popularity continues to plummet among faithful Catholics, he has managed to maintain popularity with one demographic: Pro-abortion “Catholic” Democrats. A Pew Research poll from last year revealed that the share of Catholics who have a favorable view of the pontiff is "22 points higher among Democrats than among Republicans.”

It remains to be seen by how much that number increased in 2019, when Pope Francis the Politician made it pretty clear that Trump the Wall Builder needs to be defeated in 2020.

After a long and hard-fought battle with dementia, the longtime editor of The Wanderer, Alphonse J. Matt, Jr., passed away peacefully on December 8, 2019. He was 88 years old.

For those new to The Remnant, let me briefly provide some historical context:

The Wanderer is the oldest Catholic weekly newspaper in the country. In 1867, the German-language newspaper, Der Wanderer, was founded by two Benedictine monks then serving the Assumption Church in St Paul, Minnesota.

From The Editor’s Desk, Michael Matt offers a stirring Christmastime reflection on how resistance is NOT futile, how Francis’s revolution can be stopped, and how the situation inside the Vatican should make us all better Catholics and more committed soldiers of Jesus Christ.
