Christopher A. Ferrara How Much More of this Pontificate Must the Church Endure? Catholics and Lutherans must ask each other for forgiveness for the scandal of past divisions--so said Pope Francis when he visited Rome’s Evangelical Lutheran Church this month for an evening prayer service. What do you think about that?

Patrick Archbold Zombieland:Convert or Die!  Europe and the Church must face the only real choice they have left. Convert or die! Either convert to genuine traditional Catholicism, a Catholicism that actually believes in the Truth, and that which will fearlessly preach the Truth and will seek to convert the Muslims to that Truth. If they will not, Europe will die. Then Europeans will have to choose again. Either convert to Islam or die.

Hilary White Civilization on the Eve of Destruction (It’s All Happened Before)Is there anyone left (besides me) who doesn’t have an iPhone? Whoopee! We’ve all got 5 pairs of jeans and a new iPad! Elena Chudinova A Word to Remnant Readers from the author of “The Mosque of Notre Dame”. This Russian traditionalist Catholic has got a message that the West had better not ignore.

Tess Mullins St. Maria Goretti and the New Church of Mercy Mercy is the name of the game. At least it is in the “new, improved” Catholic Church of today, which is such a sensitive listener. Of course mercy is crucial, but the new Church has put a different spin on it. Forget about the need for repentance, Mercy is for everyone, whether they want it or not! What can we learn from St. Maria Goretti

Timothy Cullen Men at Arms What constitutes “Catholic” fiction? What sets it apart from “general” fiction? Is there an actual need in Catholicism for novels centered on it? Is there still a readership for Catholic fiction?

David Martin Cardinal Sarah: The pope cannot change divine law on Communion

Susan Claire Potts Apollyon Unleased The Council met. The quiver was filled. A year later, Pope John died, and the Arrows of Destruction were handed to Pope Paul VI—the three weapons that would eventually destroy the Catholic way of life and the honor of Catholic women: the end of Friday abstinence, the changes in the calendar, and then, most lethal of all, the “taking the pill under advisement”
