Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome (0)

RTV Covers Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

Remnant TV was in Rome this past week covering the Vatican’s clerical sexual abuse summit on the “protection of minors”. It seemed a dismal assignment, to be sure, but the reason it was necessary for The Remnant to be in the Eternal City was so we could throw in with our traditional Catholic allies in Rome who’d organized an act of formal resistance to the Vatican sham summit.

Going in, we all knew that the ultimate goal of the summit was to establish child abuse—not rampant homosexuality in the priesthood—as the main cause of a crisis in the Catholic Church which now rivals that of the Protestant Revolt. (Remnant TV coverage of this event as well as the Vatican summit itself, can be found on The Remnant’s YouTube channel, and for your convenience is laid out below:

An AP year-long investigation into public schools in America reveals the massive scandal of nearly twenty thousand instances of reported sexual assaults on students as young as 5 years old over the past four years. Dozens of new cases are reported each week, and experts agree that many more cases go unreported in what is a national scandal of unprecedented proportions.

Michael Matt discusses the nightmare that is a federal apparatus of mass brainwashing worthy of something right out of George Orwell.

From Cruxnow.com:

ROME - The highest-ranking woman in the Vatican said Tuesday that strengthening international organizations such as the United Nations is the only way to deal with the problems of globalization, and predicted there “will be a movement to put more and more executive action” in international agencies.

Englishwoman Margaret Archer, President of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, said the Church should “leave national governments where they are,” and try to influence international organizations, such as the United Nations, to try and get policies implemented aimed at “bringing out global social change.”

She said the state of national politics is “terrible.”

“They are going Brexit. They are going Frexit. Europe is breaking up,” she said, making direct reference to both the British vote in June 2016 to leave the European Union, and last week’s French presidential elections, which put two outsiders - Marine Le Pen of the nationalist, Euro-skeptic National Front, and former investment banker Emmanuel Macron, a centrist former Socialist who has founded his own party - in the final runoff.

She said the electorate had “passions of a xenophobic kind” whipped up in different areas, which increased voter turnout in areas such as northeast England.

Archer said the same thing happened in France, which saw some of the highest turnout in years.

“So people are aware that big things are happening: Leaving the EU, deserting the European vision, a new configuration of alliances between countries, but it’s not giving those people anything,” she said.

“In fact, the ones who vote for Leave [the European Union] are going to wake up and they are going to have such a shock, because it is already happening,” Archer said, “look at the rate of the pound against the dollar and against the euro … Britons are already worse off economically, they only realize it when they go on holiday, that’s the paradox.”  Under Archer’s direction - and that of the academy’s chancellor, Argentine Bishop Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo - the institution has been much more willing to take strong political stands. In 2016, it controversially invited U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders to speak at a conference at the Vatican in the middle of his presidential campaign. READ MORE HERE

REMNANT COMMENT:  Anyone who still believes the Vatican is first and foremost concerned about the salvation of souls is either deluded or in total denial. Clearly, the Church is in the hands of radical leftists who are much more interested in the New World Order than in the social Kingship of Christ.  And as we see it, the sooner practicing Catholics begin to wake up to what's really going on here the better the chances to run these imposters out of our Church.  But if we continue to pretend the Vatican is still Catholic, we're apt to end up locked up in a gulag somewhere at the recommendation of the Vatican.  The charge?  Fundamentalism and religious supremacism, of course.

The shepherds have not only abandoned the flock; they've actually joined the wolves.

By the way, get out of our Church, lady--and take your demons with you!

assisi“We who are here together and in peace believe and hope in a fraternal world. We desire that men and women of different religions may everywhere gather and promote harmony, especially where there is conflict. Our future consists in living together. For this reason we are called to free ourselves from the heavy burdens of distrust, fundamentalism and hate. Believers should be artisans of peace in their prayers to God and in their actions for humanity! As religious leaders, we are duty bound to be strong bridges of dialogue, creative mediators of peace.  – Pope Francis, World Day of Prayer for Peace. Assisi, September 20, 2016

As DenzingerBergoglio.com notes, “Among the bizarre principles of bergoglian philosophy is this nugget: “unity is greater than conflict”. The consequences of this pseudo-principle are explained in Evangelii Gaudium, which claims to indicate the direction of Francis’ pontificate: we find expressions like “communion amid disagreement”, “friendship in society”, “multifaceted unity” and many others that, although deliberately ambiguous as Francis’ ideas and gestures have always been, nonetheless still permit an attentive observer to discern their true meaning.

From the Remnant Underground... Michael Matt reflects on the recent passing of some people close to him, prompting the question: What exactly happens the moment after the last breath is drawn? What is death? Plus, lessons learned from the life and work of the late John Vennari--the humble crusader who couldn't have cared less about what the world thought of his mission and his life's work.

Fra’ Festing Just Says No (It’s about time someone did)

First, the wily Argentinian Jesuit on the Chair of Peter extorted the resignation of Fra’ Matthew Festing, former Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of the Knights of Malta (to use its popular name), summoning him to a secret audience on short notice and then demanding that he write out and sign a letter of resignation on the spot. With that, whatever remained of the sovereignty of the Sovereign Order of Malta was de facto annihilated.

Then, after having told Festing during the same audience that it would be alright if he were reelected as Grand Master at the meeting of the Order’s State Council commencing in Rome on April 29—a representation worth less than a Venezuelan Bolivar—Pope Bergoglio had his henchman, Archbishop Becciu, inform Festing that he is not to participate in the election or even be present in Rome while the meeting is held.   In what was evidently thought to be a cunning maneuver, Becciu attempted to pass off this outrageous abuse of authority as his own decision, which he had merely “shared with the Holy Father.”

muller francis medThe Pope and the Cardinal go together, hand in hand

As Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Gerhard Müller is charged with the duty to spread sound doctrine and defend those points of Christian tradition which seem in danger because of new and unacceptable doctrines.” When confronted with the “new and unacceptable doctrines” enunciated in the disastrous Chapter 8 of Amoris Laetitia, however, Müller engages in a shameless cover-up, leaving it to concerned members of the laity to defend the Church’s infallible moral teaching from AL’s blatant attack upon it.

In an interview published by Aleteia on April 21, Müller declares that “The pope has not, will not, and cannot change Revelation. Some claim that the pope has changed the foundations of Church morality and has relativized the sacrament of holy matrimony. This he would not and cannot do.”

To paraphrase the Bard, sexual harassment is a grievous fault and, if it’s true, grievously hath Bill O’Reilly answer’d it. But is that really what’s behind the fall of the FOX NEWS mogul? Or does it have more to do with the fact the O'Reilly thought he was big enough to expose New World Order front man, George Soros?

You don't have to be a big fan of Bill O'Reilly’s to smell a rat here.

Brazil Report 002
Father Anderson Batista da Silva

Editor’s Note
: We have received the following report from our Catholic brothers in the Archdiocese of Niterói (a municipality close to the City of Rio de Janeiro), Brazil, about a very serious incident that occurred last Ash Wednesday at São Domingos de Gusmão (Saint Dominic de Guzmán) parish church. We kindly ask you to read it and then meet our requests for Catholic action at the article’s conclusion. MJM

Last Ash Wednesday everything was ready for the celebration of the Holy Mass at São Domingos de Gusmão parish church. The faithful entered the church and prepared themselves to ask God’s Grace, receive the Sign of the Cross on their foreheads, listen to the exhortation to “turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel”, and so enter into the Lenten Season. The service was a Traditional Latin Mass; the minister was a diocesan priest, Father Anderson Batista da Silva, who has celebrated the Vetus Ordo for a long time, even before the promulgation of Summorum Pontificum.

From our friends at Gloria TV:

The Austrian philosopher Thomas Stark analyzes in a recent panel discussion in Vienna the base of modern theological errors. The panel was organized by "Una Voce Austria". A video is here: "There are sinister ideologies underlying the New Mass"

Erroneous Trio: Mentality of Change - Evolutionism - Gnosticism

Stark points to a recent interview of the new General of the Jesuits, Arturo Soza. He suggested to reinterpret the words of Jesus according to a changing language, context and culture. Stark summarized this position as the following mentality: "Things always change. We don't know what our Lord really said. It all depends on several changing contexts."

The ideological layer behind the described mentality is for Stark evolutionism: History is - in nature and in society - seen as an uprising development , that makes things - always and automatically - better and better.

Stark sees underneath the mentality of change and the ideology of evolution another deeper layer: the metaphysics of Gnosticism: "It says in its core, that not only the world is developing, but that the Absolute in itself develops by flowing into its own creation."

Three views of the world: Heathendom, Christendom or Gnosticism

In Gnosticism the Divine cause of everything develops itself by the evolution of nature and culture: "The gnostic metaphysics has been constructed at the same time, when the Catholic Church started to lay down her theological foundation by means of Greek philosophy - in the second century." READ MORE HERE

REMNANT COMMENT: Professor Stark--perhaps the premier traditional Catholic intellectual in Austria today--is an old and dear friend of The Remnant.  Please read this article, and then watch the video. Few Catholics in Europe today understand better the truly gnostic nature of the heresy of Cardinal Kasper. If you want to know Kasper and, by extension, Francis, study the work of Professor Thomas Stark.

With the Shrine's New Masses all celebrated ad orientem and the TLM no stranger inside of her walls (several high-profile Traditional Latin Masses having taken place here already) --

--this is one of the bright spots in the post-conciliar Church. Please God, may it continue to advance in the direction of traditional Catholic restoration -- the only hope of the whole world.
