Headline News Around the World

(FOX News: July 8, 2020) The Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that the Trump administration acted within its authority when it expanded exemptions to the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) requirement for employers to provide insurance coverage that includes contraception -- in a victory for Little Sisters of the Poor, the Catholic group that has been at the center of the national debate over the mandate.

The court ruled 7-2 in favor of the Trump administration and the Catholic charity that cares for the elderly in two related disputes against Pennsylvania, which sued over the validity of a rule from the Trump administration that allowed religiously-affiliated groups and some for-profit companies to opt-out of providing contraception coverage to employees.

Email your state and local officials to let them know wearing a mask must be a choice.

The decision to wear a mask is highly personal and should not be universally mandated; measures that are meant to protect the community are ineffective if they hurt individuals in that community. Please email and tweet your state and local officials now and urge them to do their part to make sure that mask-wearing is voluntary, not mandatory.

Could it be that certain operatives within the globalist cabal are in fact blackmailing the world with the threat of a perpetual (and burdensome) New Normal?

Think about it. We're supposed to just blithely accept that life as we knew it is now over -- no more work, no more socializing, no more classroom education for our children, no more sports, no more parks, shopping, eating out--just because of a virus that is claiming significantly fewer lives than car accidents.

And if we do wish to return to some aspect of life as we knew it just a few months ago, we must agree to wear a special facial ID apparatus, just so that if anyone strays too far from the class, Teacher can immediately corral the guilty offender back in line...for everyone's safety's sake, of course.

After all, too much freedom of movement is just another name for manslaughter.

Never mind that almost every other serious illness you can think of will claim more lives this year than Covid 19, for the good of the whole farm each animal must be willing to shut everything down.

What's really going on here? Isn't it obvious? In the name of a global political and economic reset that will usher in a New & Improved World Order, we must all willingly embrace this amazing New Normal which, admittedly, will destroy the Old Normal's economy (while we wait for that life-giving vaccine) but also save the planet and create this super great Brotherhood of Man along the way.

So quit your griping! The Old Normal was pretty terrible anyway. Remember?

Put a sock in it, Antonio!

And then there's Dr. Fauci -- a sadistic little "expert" who prevaricates, changes his story, exaggerates, lies and gets so much wrong so much of the time that you've got to be a real Joe Biden to take him seriously:

The good news? Senator Rand Paul (a Covid-19 survivor) is regularly handing Fauci his lower spinal extremity in the public forum.  Paul did such a great job in the recent hearing in Washington that he forced Fauci to change his tune once again.

Now Fauci claims he agrees with Paul, that the kids need to get back to school:

Let's hold him to it this time. Shall we?

Not that we want anyone's children to be sentenced to twelve years in the national indoctrination camps euphemistically referred to as "public schools".  But, obviously, the price parents will have to pay to put their children back in school will be a mandatory vaccination (if, that is, Trump loses in November). Any disruption of this 18-month blackmail period should be a welcome sign that the globalist agenda has encountered a stumbling block.

Bottom line is this: Fauci says he wants to open up the schools in the fall. Let's let this amazing scientific genius have the last word on the matter.

Fauci locuta est, causa finita est.

TODAY'S CATHOLIC CURRENT radio broadcast featured Remnant Editor, Michael J. Matt.

The show’s host, Fr. Robert McTeigue, invited Mr. Matt to the show to answer the question:

After being beaten down by current events, how do we become warriors again?

Albert Pike Albert Pike

A couple of nights ago (June 20, 2020), the skateboard-wielding,  peaceful-protesting representatives of the Lamest Generation in American history managed, in their inconsolable grief, to stumble upon an old statue of the father of modern Freemasonry (video below)--Grand Master Albert Pike.

With no real idea who he was, the brave Statue Killers knocked down old Albert, scribbled a few F-words on the stone base of his statue and set him on fire.

So much for the Brotherhood of Man!

The irony was rich, of course, but lost on our benighted rebels without a clue, who evidently thought they were sticking it to Christian America by knocking down the statue of the man the late, great Solange Hertz described in the pages of The Remnant as a "Luciferian high priest."

Albert Pike (along with the "Goddess of Freemasonry" that rested at his feet) had been honored in the Judiciary Square neighborhood for 120 years. Back in 1901, a dedication ceremony included thousands of Masons marching in a celebratory parade in honor of their most cherished son.

Little did they know that one day the Catholic-bashing, Christophobic mob they'd incited worldwide would tear their Grand Master apart and burn him in effigy.

albert pike statue anarchy symbolNote the symbol for Anarchy on Pike's left hand.

It was said of Pike that he "found Freemasonry in a log cabin and left it in a Temple", since he is buried in the House of the Temple, headquarters of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, at 16th and S Streets NW, in Washington, D.C.

Some of the old legends of the Swamp (on which Washington, D.C. was built) say that the reason the buildings in our nation's capital are so low to the ground (no skyscrapers) is because by law none can rise above the  "sacred monument" of Pike's Tomb.

Whether or not this is true, the city's love affair with Freemasonry is hardly the stuff of legend. Masonry is carved into the very stone, and Albert Pike is venerated like a god.  Or at least he used to be, until the new Sons of Liberty knocked him into anarchy.

Grandmaster Albert Pike is the anti-Evangelist of American Freemasonry,  having penned the de facto Bible of Freemasonry -- his 1871 masterwork"Morals and Dogma",  which is described by Freemasons as a "huge manual for the instruction of the Rite, as much a compilation as a composition... which remains to this day a monument of learning... containing the best Masonic thinking and writing in our literature." (MasonicDictionary.com)

He was, according to the Masonic Dictionary, "the master genius of Masonry in America, both as scholar and artist. No other mind of equal power ever toiled so long in the service of the Craft in the New World. No other has left a nobler fame in our annals."

For her part, the Catholic Church condemned old Albert's Freemasonry with the full weight of her authority for the past two hundred years, with more popes warning against the secret society than any other single organization.

Pope Leo XIII in his encyclical, Humanum Genus, and elsewhere, the 1917 Code of Canon Law (Pius X—Benedict XV) provided, in Canon 2335, as follows:

All those who enroll their names in the sect of Freemasons or similar associations which plot against the Church or legitimate civil authorities, incur by this very fact the penalty of excommunication, absolution from which is reserved simply to the Holy See.

In bizarre poetic justice, old Albert Pike has been cut down by the very same mob that sent Robespierre to Madame Guillotine when the first Reign of Terror kicked things off in France a couple of hundred years ago. Pike, like Robespierre before him, had devoted his life to the Masonic principles of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. But, then as now, the mob was singularly unimpressed, proving once again that, sooner or later, Christophobia always leads to anarchy.

The question is, who's next? George Washington's iconic monument? The Statue of Liberty?  Lady Liberty perched high atop the dome of our nation's capitol? We'll have to wait and see as the Revolution continues to consume itself.

In the meantime, Long Live Christ the King!

Dear Bishops of Scotland,

I am writing to respectfully upbraid all of you in the Scottish hierarchy for  abandoning Christ's flock during this Covid-19 pandemic, which, as statistical evidence is now increasingly proving, was never a serious health threat to the majority of Scotland's 5.5 million population, or indeed any other population.

Nowhere in the annals of Church history, even through periods of war and plague, is there another example of Catholic prelates ordering a national suspension of public Masses and devotions under any pretext.

A hearing by Skype was held today before the Honorable Gary L. Sharpe of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. The proceedings went well, and the Court has permitted final submissions on Monday, June 22 with a decision by next Friday on my motion for a temporary restraining order/preliminary injunction barring Cuomo and de Blasio from enforcing their limits on religious gatherings as presently constituted.

The hearing was largely taken up with the development that Cuomo and de Blasio have approved of mass demonstrations on behalf of George Floyd in every major city in New York State, with de Blasio even personally participating, while enforcing strict limits on other gatherings, above all religious gatherings.

I implore Remnant readers to keep praying for a just and speedy outcome in this very important case affecting the lives of 19 million people.

Editor’s Note: There seems to be civil war brewing in nearly every aspect of the Trump Administration just now. Leakers in the White House, mobs outside the West Wing, rabid Mitt Romneys on the loose, rumors of insurrection in the military and now even treachery in the Supreme Court.

This disheartening and foreboding SCOTUS decision comes just days after the Trump Administration had walked back an Obama-era anti-discrimination rule, preventing doctors from following their consciences when it came to abortion or so-called ‘sex change’ operations.

This welcome news means doctors will no longer risk losing their jobs or federal aid for refusing to comply with 'gender identity' politics.

“These orders, both the emergency stay-home and reopening plan declarations, clearly discriminate against houses of worship. They are illegally content-based, elaborate, arbitrary and pseudo-scientific." – Christopher Ferrara

Caleb Parke, FOX NEWS: "New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Attorney General Letitia James, and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio are using coronavirus restrictions as a "blatant double standard" to discriminate against people of faith, using threats of fines and criminal prosecution, according to a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday.

Two Catholic priests -- Steven Soos and Nicholas Stamos -- and a trio of Orthodox Jewish congregants -- Elchanan Perr, Daniel Schonborn, and Mayer Mayerfeld -- in Brooklyn, represented by the Thomas More Society, filed the suit in the Northern District of New York after mass protests and looting occurred in the Big Apple following George Floyd's death.chris on Fox

“Why is a large worship gathering deemed more dangerous than a mass protest, full of shouting, arm-waving people in close proximity to one another?” Christopher Ferrara, Thomas More Society special counsel, said in a statement to Fox News."
