Chicago Cops Sick of City's New Vax Mandate are being recruited by Indiana

Thousands of Chicago police officers find themselves at odds with Mayor Lightfoot's new, draconian vaccine mandates. Many officers are being punished for not complying.

As of October 15, all 12,000 officers of the Chicago Police Department are required to share their vaccination status, while those who aren’t vaccinated must get tested for COVID twice weekly.

Officials in the neighboring state of Indiana are urging Chicago police officers who are fed up with the mandate to come across state lines, where their services will be appreciated without the burden of government overreach.

"Hey Chicago Police Officers, we're hiring! No vaccine mandate," tweeted Indiana State Police Sgt. Glen Fifield this week.

"Apply today," he added, including a link to the agency's website and noting his state's "lower taxes, great schools, [and] welcoming communities."
