Nightmare in Australia: The Updates

Editor's Note: Full article is forthcoming with more details on the updates below. Many thanks to our Australian correspondent, Kathy Clubb, for her courageous journalism. MJM

** Day 2 of demonstrations by the construction industry workers protesting against mandatory jabs. Yesterday our premier thought he'd "de-escalate" the situation by suspending employment in this sector for 2 weeks. Today they took to the streets shouting "For our kids". It began peacefully but things turned violent later in the day:  https://twitter.com/paulsakkal/status/1440133112294305795 and https://twitter.com/OzraeliAvi/status/1440197875049242634 (excuse the profanity)

** Monica Smit: Monica's legal team managed to have her case moved to the Supreme Court. The hearing is tomorrow, Wednesday, our time. She will hopefully be released after this. I don't know what to make of the following article. If true, it is mind-blowing:   https://www.reignitedemocracyaustralia.com.au/monica-fatima/

** Finally, two states, New South Wales and Victoria have released their "roadmaps" for reopening. (Both states are still locked down after several months.) The plans for loosening restrictions are based on reaching specific vaccination targets, but NOWHERE is there any mention of any freedoms for unvaccinated citizens. It is looking as though we will not be able to attend Mass in churches again. Our bishops are pretty quiet about it - they are without exception promoting the injection.

God bless,

Kathy
