THE POPE'S MOTU PROPRIO: A Reaction from Everyman

Today’s motu proprio issued by the Holy Father was drafted in a cunning manner. While the words themselves are alarming, what’s written between the lines, while not surprising, is unsettling.

The timing of the document’s release is worth noting: the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and 24 hours after he returned to the Vatican from a procedure to treat diverticulitis - the affliction by which Arius met his end.

The Holy Father needs our prayers.

His soul is at stake. He’s playing a dangerous game. One the likes of Arius, Martin Luther, Henry VIII, and Judas Iscariot played and lost.

As for the rest of us, to walk the path of truth — that is to say the path of tradition — is to walk the Via Dolorosa. In gratitude for our enlightenment, we must endure some minuscule share of Calvary.

Today, let’s pray in a special way for the members of the Post-Conciliar Church. They are the true victims of Bergoglio and his reckless endangerment of the flock.

All of this was made known to us by Our Lady’s apparitions at Fatima, Akita, and La Salette. Thus, through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother, may the members of the novus ordo receive the enlightenment to walk the path of truth with us.

During this time of tribulation let us stand firm in the reality that Her Immaculate Heart and her son’s Most Sacred Heart WILL triumph.

May Archbishop Lefebvre continue to intercede for the salvation of souls.

RESTAURARE OMNIA IN CHRISTO.
