This new victory means that the Hungarian Right now has control over the country's Constitution. Take that, Soros!

A fierce opponent of the insufferable globalist, George Soros, Prime Minister Viktor Orban is being maligned as a "racist" by United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra'ad al-Hussein and, of course, a "hater" by his political opponents who lost by an embarrassingly large margin.

All of this has left the New York Times in a panic, as evidenced in an April 8 2018 column by Marc Santora:

Mr. Orban’s victory is likely to embolden other leaders who have used a similar playbook, including those in nearby Poland, where the governing party has openly emulated his tactics.

Mr. Orban built his campaign on castigating Western nations as a hostile, multicultural force, where Muslim immigrants ran wild and where traditional family values were under constant assault.

From TheGuardian

Viktor Orbán has declared victory, after near-complete results showed a crushing win for his rightwing coalition.

The three-time prime minister is expected to win a super-majority, with preliminary results showing that his Fidesz-KDNP alliance on course to win 133 seats, out of 199.

In a brief speech to supporters, Orbán said it was a decisive victory:

We created the opportunity to defend Hungary. A great battle is behind us. We have achieved a decisive victory.

COMMENT:  Hungary's Constitution already begins with these words: "We are proud that our king, Saint Stephen, built the Hungarian State on solid ground and made our country a part of Christian Europe more than a thousand years ago."

The preamble to the Constitution declares: "We recognize the role of Christianity in preserving nationhood..."

After yesterday's sweeping victory, Fidesz, Orban's party, now has the power to change the Constitution with an even more pro-Christian, pro-life, pro-family, pro-nation bent.

From the diabolical European Union and the wrath of the United Nations, O Lord deliver Hungary.
