YOUTUBE JUST REMOVED THIS VIDEO (and served our channel with a strike for it)
Five days into his quarantine, Michael shares some thoughts on what it's like to test positive and finally live through THE THING that's turned the world upside down. Even as his wife and kids suffer with COVID, Michael finds some surprisingly positive things to talk about.
In this Sunday Sermon from South Saint Paul, Father comments on the significance of October being the Month of the Holy Rosary. After retelling the story of how Don John of Austria lead the Christian fleet to victory against the Ottoman Turks 450 years ago--thus saving Christian Europe--Father draws our attention to the role of the pope at that time in calling the men and women of Christendom to prayer in the face of evil. Pope Pius V called a crusade and placed it under the protection of Our Lady of Victory.
The Synod that is now underway in the Vatican will be another attack on the traditions of the Catholic Church as handed down to us from apostolic times. Francis is a ruthless idealogue whose agenda is all about permanently changing the Church so that it can never be changed back. His arrogance and hubris evidently know no limits. And he is hellbent on doing to the Catholic Church what Biden and his Globalist handlers are doing to the United States of America – dismantle it brick by brick and piece by piece until it is no more.
In this interview, Michael Matt asks His Excellency about everything from COVID lockdowns, to Vatican cooperation with Globalism, to Francis’ Pachamama scandal, to the prophecies of Fatima, to the connection between vaccines and abortion, to the role of the Guardian Angels in this war against God and the Catholic Church.
This interview took place at the Catholic Identity Conference 2021 in Pittsburgh. All the talks and greetings from the CIC are now available via On-Demand Video from The Remnant.
Eric Frankovitch and I are very pleased to announce that this year’s CIC in Pittsburgh, PA, exceeded all expectations. With some 700 attendees on hand over the three-day event, the CIC provided all of us here at The Remnant with an incredible “shot in the arm” that inoculated us all against the twin pandemics of Modernism and Globalism. The conference was made up of not only seasoned veterans of the traditional Catholic movement, but also an unexpected influx of new recruits, including hundreds of young people, students, and families who have only recently discovered the Traditional Mass.
Australia's freedom fighter, Monica Smit, addressed the Catholic Identity Conference with an empowering message from which we can all benefit: No one is too small or too weak to make a difference. With God, all things are possible.
Michael Matt explains the point and purpose of this year's Catholic Identity Conference in Pittsburgh this weekend.
Michael Matt explains how the Build Back Better sabotage of America is directly impacting deliveries and construction work on the new RTV studio project. Lumber, supplies, even food is in short supply all across the country, as some 70 cargo ships off the coast of California are not allowed to unload their cargo.
What’s going on?
This year’s Catholic Identity Conference sold out months ago. With over 700 attendees and 15 speakers, this will be the largest Traditional Catholic conference of 2021.
I want to invite you to the CIC Livestream, which will include interviews, personalized greetings and updates for our Livestream viewers ONLY. Please keep in mind this is not an online Zoom conference. This is an actual conference, with speakers flying in from around the world and technicians that will produce a high-quality online experience for those who are not in attendance.
In addition to real time viewing of all talks, Livestream viewers will also be able to interact with the conference by sending email questions and comments to me directly, as I will be serving as emcee throughout the entire weekend.
Daily conference Masses will be part of the package.
Editor's Note: Twenty years ago, I was at Ground Zero in New York. I wrote the following now abridged version of my experience in the immediate aftermath of that disaster, the Afghanistan insanity at the time, and what we as a nation might have learned through that horrific ordeal. Now, twenty years later, I fear we have learned nothing at all. God help us, I wish it were otherwise. MJM
NEW YORK (November 12, 2001)—I write these words from the twelfth floor of the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City. Emergency vehicle sirens wail in the streets of Manhattan below my window. It seems that the city is crying again.
Yet another American Airliner—has crashed into Queens. Over 240 passengers and crew are dead; nobody knows how many are dead on the ground where Flight 587 apparently exploded and plummeted into a residential neighborhood.
