We Australians have been dealt a double-blow with the passing of George Cardinal Pell only a week after the death of the Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. The news from Rome was completely unexpected: that His Eminence had died from complications due to a routine hip replacement.

Given the chain of disappointments Australians of good will have experienced when trying to work for real change, there is a temptation to walk away from politics entirely. The incessant gloom of globalism, its ascendancy confirmed by prophecies from credible mystics, urges us to turn inwards and hunker down before the next barrage of evil. Yet, that is not the Christian way. Instead, the approach of the Christian has always been, and always will be, to stand and fight.

The parish of St. Anne’s is a thriving centre of traditional Catholicism in Perth, Western Australia and would be the envy of many Novus Ordo priests who are struggling to persuade their congregations to attend Mass at Christmas and Easter. The St Anne’s weekly bulletin is packed full of information about the various social activities, homeschooling support, prayer groups and fundraising initiatives running in the parish. This is a church at which Catholics need to be reminded to make room for others at Sunday Masses as there is standing room only. In times when the hierarchy was interested in preserving Catholic faith and culture, St Anne’s would have been a model for the entire country.

This is the story of Our Lady’s intervention in the life of an Australian man who had been brought up to worship the spirits of his ancestors. It is a testament to the power of the Rosary and to the love of Our Lady for her lost children. The story has been edited for clarity and brevity - Kathy.

Background of false pagan worship

I was born in southern Vietnam and in the midst of the dreadful Vietnam war. The war was initiated wrongly by the evil elites. So many souls were sacrificed including  5 million Vietnamese as well as allies. Communism had been somewhat held off for more than a decade but the loss of the Republic allowed it to spread across the entire region and beyond. This outcome is related to the message of Fatima with our Holy Mother’s warning of the error of Russia.

If Melbourne’s residents felt like guinea pigs during Victoria’s extended lockdowns, then Monash University has just explained why we weren’t imagining it. Australia’s wokest university has released a fascinating document entitled “The Melbourne Experiment” which promises to embed pandemic-style lockdowns into government policy in an effort to combat man-made “climate change.”

In June, the main architect of Australia’s Plenary Council, Archbishop Mark Coleridge of Brisbane, wrote for the website, Outreach, claiming that the need for the Church to become more inclusive is at the heart of both the Plenary and the global Synodal process, focusing on the Church’s apparent need to welcome members of the LGBTI community.

While many Catholics were distressed to see pagan rituals being performed at Australia’s Plenary Assembly, most are unaware of the proliferation of indigenous spirituality within the Catholic school system.  Australian dioceses are quietly using formal programs to indoctrinate young children in the ways of indigenous spirituality, while simultaneously destroying their Christian faith.

Prior to the controversial 2019 Amazon Synod, Pope Francis called for a Church “with an Amazon face”, lauding that primitive culture for its wisdom and deep spirituality. As this author and others have written, the Pope chose to overlook the less savoury elements - the euthanasia, infanticide, cannibalism and sodomy - inherent in traditional South American cultures, just as he chose to ignore the pre-eminence of the Church he leads, the Church founded by Jesus Christ. Following the Pope’s lead, Australia’s Plenary organisers and the majority of her bishops chose to ignore the truth and beauty of the Faith they claim to profess, continuing with their agenda of substituting a syncretic and watered-down version of Catholicism in its place.

The question of whether Benedict or Francis is the valid Pope is, quite frankly, becoming rather tiresome, and it seems that nothing will stop the debate from continuing to rage. Despite many good and holy luminaries assuring us that Benedict’s resignation was valid and that Francis is indeed Pope, and despite our hopes that God has His own “great reset” in the pipeline, many from the small pool of faithful Catholics make a daily decision to continue stoking the controversy.

Australia is waking to an extreme left-wing government today with Labor leader Anthony Albanese as the new Prime Minister. This is in addition to the majority of Australia’s states and territories being run by Labor governments, with one of the remaining Liberal states (Australia’s version of ‘conservative’) headed by a “Build Back Better” Catholic.
