SOS: Christianity on decline in Australia

Australia is fast becoming like the Israel of “old” as under King Zedekiah. Just a few decades ago, Australia was by all-intents-and-purposes a ‘Christian Land’ with strong Christian values, but since 1972, due to successive Federal Governments, hundreds of thousands of migrants from non-Christian backgrounds have been allowed into Australia.

These successive Governments have furthermore openly supported these non-Christians, often with monetary donations, in the building of Mosques, Islamic Schools, Hindu, Buddhist and Sikh Temples, and of course more recently in Pagan sites being established by our own Indigenous people which are now springing up everywhere.

There are many other cults and sects now existing under the tacit acceptance of various Governments. The rule seems to be ....” if it seems peaceful then it can exist” and not forgetting the UN Charter of ‘freedom of religion’ which “well-meaning” people after World War II inserted in the hope of avoiding future conflicts between religions.

A couple of thousand years ago King Zedekiah allowed his people in Israel to do exactly what Australia is now doing by acquiescing to the worship to any Gods or Idols or Spirits. It was dangerous then with disastrous results and it is also dangerous now.

The common denominator of Australians worshipping One God in Father, Son and Holy Spirit has been affectively repudiated by our nation. We now have no unity of ‘spirit’ but are rather just a mishmash of entities and spirits all going along different paths.

The UN Website has reported every year since 2014 that Christians are now the most persecuted people in the world – and it is growing in number.

There are those that now argue ‘what does it matter’, it’s just different paths to God, and I’m sure you have heard people say: “if you are good person you will go to heaven no matter what religion you are”. Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you but Jesus did NOT say anything of the kind. He laid down specific “rules” which many people in positions of authority (in the Church and out-of-the Church) now try to ‘explain away’ or ‘re-interpret in the context of today’s modern world’. These people will say: “Oh, you take things too literally” or Jesus didn’t mean that”, or “You need to move with the times and be more compassionate” or “I thought you were a Christian, you are very intolerant”.

All the Gospels are very clear on what Jesus expected from us.  He specifically said: “No one can come to the Father except through me” (John 14:6), and he also said: “In all truth I tell you if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you... etc (John 6:53-58).   Can Jesus be any clearer in these two sentences? Yet other religions, cults and sects deny these very tenets of the Christian faith and worship other, and thereby ‘false’ Gods. The early Catholic Church knew this and rejected out-of-hand any acceptance or worshiping of ‘other Gods’ or invoking ‘other spirits’. It is still in the Catholic Catechism that:  There is NO salvation outside the (Catholic) Church. (Salus non est extra unam Sanctam Romanam Ecclesiam Catholicam). And yet there are those who will explain away what has been just written, even though these truths have been handed down through the centuries. What is wrong with people? Why can they not accept these truths? These are from Jesus Himself – the living Son of the living God. Remember that there was nothing created (by God) that was not created through the Son for Jesus was always with God from the beginning, as Jesus said : “I am the Alpha and the Omega” (The beginning and the end), and in answer to the Jews:  ”Before Abraham was, I am”. Mind blowing stuff, but this is fact and is the basis of our Christian faith. Jesus is God.

Jeremiah was called by God to show King Zedekiah this ‘folly’ of allowing other religions to co-exist in Israel, along with other problems at the time, but alas, despite repeated attempts Israel repudiated Jeremiah’s call to worship ‘One God’ and was eventually totally destroyed.  What will be Australia’s fate?

Whilst we still have many Christian values, these are coming under continual pressure to bend or to make way for ‘other non-Christian values’. e.g.: No crosses on Hot Cross Buns in England this year as it offended “other religions’ – it was replaced with a ‘tick’. And how many other Christian beliefs are now under attack from Woke and other people. I’m sure you have all heard that…  “the Virgin birth was just a myth” … and that … “Jesus did not die on the cross but was only in a deep sleep, hence there was no resurrection” … These and other Christian truths are being denied because these people cannot accept the great miracle that God came into this world in the person of Jesus Christ, true God and true Man.  Many Indigenous Australians are good Christians but there is now a small minority who now practice Welcome to Country ceremonies and other rituals full of pagan dancing and incantations to ‘unknown’ spirits. Invoking these ‘other spirits’ is dangerous for evil itself uses any means to corrupt and divert people away from the love of Jesus Christ. Our world is a continual battleground between the Evil One and Jesus Christ.

Today’s world of immediate arrest and imprisonment, with often little communication to the outside world, poses new challenges to any would-be ‘prophet’. Just read (on-line) about how Catholic Bishops in Communist China and North Korea are often under house arrest or imprisoned for years due to preaching the faith.

Early Christians faced persecution for centuries when Pagans and other religions dominated the lands where they lived. The martyrdom of our forefathers is well-documented through the trials of the Saints starting with the crucifixion of Jesus himself. People in Australia would say this could never happen here; however, our world is changing ‘quicker-and-quicker’ and who knows what the future holds. Remember Jesus said… “the world belongs to the Evil One”, and there are many evil groups and religions out there that would not hesitate to crush our Christian world. These groups can now operate freely in Australia under any guise. You would have no idea who, or what, or where they are.

The UN Website has reported every year since 2014 that Christians are now the most persecuted people in the world – and it is growing in number. From Atheist and Communist lands to most Islamic lands Christians now face growing persecution. Just go onto the UN Web to read endless pages of reports and testimonies.

One can only wonder how long it will be before Christian centres of worship come under attack in Australia as fundamental pressures from other groups increase: e.g. As in Sydney recently.

Unfortunately, there is little chance of any reversal in Australia whilst we have Governments not willing to stand up solely for Christian values, and who are continually pushing and allowing these ‘other non-Christian values’ to co-exist in our world. This will inevitably lead to clashes and disaster.

There is today no prophet who can speak out as in the days of old. Social media covers the globe and information is dispersed quickly from every corner.  We are faced also today with the idea of “misinformation” and how governments everywhere now want to control “information” through electronic mediums (TV, radio, Cellphones, Internet, Website, etc.). This a very different world to the time of Jeremiah. If Jeremiah were alive today he would be hard-pressed to denounce any government for its false ways. And yes, he was arrested by King Zedekiah and imprisoned, and faced harrowing experiences.

Australia will face difficult decisions in the years to come and we hope and pray that our Christian values will continue to be the shining light that lead all peoples in our land back to those abiding values of our ancestors and away from all this paganism and other false religions that are at present flourishing.

Those in Government need to take note but I doubt if anything will happen. Just as Jeremiah was ignored, I’m sure this letter will also be largely ignored, but I’ve been prompted to write it and that’s all I can do. The spiritual welfare of our nation is at stake!
