Trump Defends Christmas, Little Sisters of the Poor

During a blowout speech to the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C., on October 13, 2017, President Trump smacked several balls out of the park, to the delight of pro-God Americans everywhere.  After promising to defend what he called "Judeo-Christian values" in every walk of American life, the President went on to "pledge allegiance to one nation under God," to defend the lives of the unborn, saying ours is a nation "that never forgets that we are all – all, every one of us – made by the same God in heaven.”

"In America, we don’t worship government, we worship God," noted Trump to thunderous applause.  He said his Justice Department will also find a way to “ensure that no religious group is ever targeted under my administration" and also defended his decision to defund Planned Parenthood specifically "to protect the unborn."

“We cherish the sacred dignity of every human life...”

“We have also taken action to protect the conscience rights of groups like the Little Sisters of the Poor," who “were going through hell and then all of a sudden they won." Trump seemed to be rather playfully intimating a miraculous, 11th hour intervention on behalf of the Litlte Sisters, and then went on to note that “Little Sisters of the Poor and other people of faith live by a beautiful calling and we will not let bureaucrats take away that calling.”

“We know that the American family is the true bedrock of American life.  It’s not the role of government to “meddle in your faith and (tell you) how to live, what to say, and how to pray.”

“Parents, not bureaucrats, know best how to raise their children. We know that it’s the family and the church – not government officials – that know best how to create strong and loving communities. And above all else, we know this. In America, we don’t worship government, we worship God.”

Trump brought down the house several times during an outspokenly pro-God, pro-life, pro-country, pro-Christmas (yes, you read that correctly) speech:

Touch 'em all, Mr. President!
