The Amazon Synod is widely being recognized, among serious people, for the patronizing, liberal sanctification of indigenous religions that it is.

Brussels and the Vatican are using the Amazon region as the laboratory for religious experimentation which promises to alter and deface the Bride of Christ beyond recognition.

In this Sunday Sermon from South Saint Paul, Father defends the great virtue of patriotism as love of the land, hearth and home given to us by God in His Providence. Father then explains how faithful Catholics reconcile that virtue with a Catholic’s first duty to God Himself, especially now with ‘legal’ abortion and gay ‘marriage’ the law of the land in so many of our countries. Concluding with a beautiful paraphrase of the last words of St. Thomas More before he was executed, Father says: “To the extent that we are able, we live as good citizens of the United States of America but we live as citizens of the kingdom of God first and foremost with Christ our King.”

Delegation from the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, with the relic of St. Peter.

On June 29, the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, the Vatican held a large ceremony. Among those present was a delegation from the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

The pope presented them with precious relics of St. Peter, which had originally been venerated in the papal apartments. The relics were bone fragments found during excavations begun in the 1940s of the necropolis under St. Peter’s Basilica.

The pope claimed this was a token of “brotherhood and closeness”...whatever kind of closeness he imagines there can be with schismatics who deny the primacy of Peter.

Dear Friends in Christ:

One of the original four dubia cardinals, Cardinal Walter Brandmüller, recently called the Vatican’s working document (Instrumentum Laboris) for the upcoming Pan-Amazon Synod, “heretical” and an “apostasy” from Divine Revelation. He called upon Church leaders to “reject” it with “all decisiveness.”

Martin Luther was a Catholic priest who apostatized and got married. Francis -- a big fan of Luther's -- now wants to exploit the Amazon people and use them as an excuse to abolish the celibate priesthood.

After six painful years of Francis occupying the papal office, a prominent Archbishop has proclaimed publicly that Bergoglio is a bald-faced liar. In a recent email interview with the Washington Post, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò made the following unprecedented accusations:

Reporting from the streets of Budapest, Michael J. Matt visits the 'Museum of Terror' where Catholic cardinals, priests and laymen in Hungary were imprisoned, tortured and killed by Nazis and Communists from 1944 to 1991.

As Catholics we must believe with ALL of our hearts, minds, and souls that at every Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the validly ordained Priest changes bread and wine into the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ, in what is defined as ‘Transubstantiation.’ This is a true MIRACLE that has been done “in remembrance” of Christ since He instituted the Mass at the Last Supper on Holy Thursday. This belief is under attack today.

"From the first moment I saw him, I knew that he was going to be a Modernist wrecking ball..." - George Neumayr.

While reviewing The Political Pope, a noted Catholic writer claimed the author of this book about the current pope was "...relentlessly ideological, and too systematic for such a free-wheeling figure." That description puzzled me, for Neumayr had only described events that demonstrated his deep-seated conviction the current Pontifex Maximus was nothing more - or less - than a revolutionary cleric, whose actions served as a wrecking ball to the Church's historical past and traditions. To the contrary, he was not ideological at all; he was simply describing the baleful changes he's noted under Pope Francis. Those changes were initially witnessed when Neumayr was a student, decades ago, at the Jesuit University of San Francisco, where the Modernist mantra ruled. It still does. Is it any wonder, then, that his initial reaction to the first Jesuit pope was not tinged with enthusiasm?

Reporting from Austria, Michael Matt describes how the explosion of traditional Catholicism in Europe signals Modernism's fundamental vulnerability.

Case in Point: Nearly 20,000 came together for a traditional Catholic rendezvous in France over Pentecost weekend that promises two things:

heart treeAuthor's Intro (Exclusive for The Remnant): The feeling a lot of Catholics have today in the Church is often similar to a feeling of being alienated from your own country. I talked about this many times with my friend Aldo Maria Valli, a journalist and a writer, who has been a vaticanist for years. In his blog Duc in altum (among the most popular and authoritative) he has long been committed to the defense of Catholic tradition, the right doctrine and correct liturgy, even if years ago he was more a Catholic leaning toward the liberal side. I too, a Church musician for decades, have tried to understand the reasons behind the many changes in the Church in recent years, changes that now I can no longer justify. And it seems things are not going to change soon. This has given to us a sense of being uprooted, and this is the main reason behind our book, "Uprooted. Dialogues on the Liquid Church" (2018 Chorabooks). It is a book in the form of dialogue about the many issues that we are facing: liturgy, homosexuality, crisis of priesthood, mercy and justice and many more.

WE, THE UPROOTED

Explanatory note to the “Declaration of the truths relating to some of the most common errors in the life of the Church of our time”

In our time the Church is experiencing one of the greatest spiritual epidemics, that is, an almost universal doctrinal confusion and disorientation, which is a seriously contagious danger for spiritual health and eternal salvation for many souls. At the same time one has to recognize a widespread lethargy in the exercise of the Magisterium on different levels of the Church’s hierarchy in our days. This is largely caused by the non-compliance with the Apostolic duty - as stated also by the Second Vatican Council - to “vigilantly ward off any errors that threaten the flock” (Lumen gentium, 25).
