Remnant Articles

We are Catholics who seek to honor God and save our souls by following our Catholic Faith, which we know was handed down by Jesus Christ to His disciples and faithfully transmitted through the ages despite the constant attacks of those who hate God and His Catholic Church.  The Church has always responded to these attacks on its immutable teaching by defining the truths of the Faith to render them plainly clear to all men of good will and immune to legitimate misinterpretation.

In this interview, Michael Matt asks His Excellency about everything from COVID lockdowns, to Vatican cooperation with Globalism, to Francis’ Pachamama scandal, to the prophecies of Fatima, to the connection between vaccines and abortion, to the role of the Guardian Angels in this war against God and the Catholic Church.

This interview took place at the Catholic Identity Conference 2021 in Pittsburgh. All the talks and greetings from the CIC are now available via On-Demand Video from The Remnant.

In the final talk of the 2021 Catholic Identity Conference, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò delivered what is perhaps the most absolutely vital message for Catholics today:

“Our duty in this historical moment is to fight the good fight in order to acquire those merits before God that may lead Him to shorten the time of tribulation . . . the outcome of the battle is most certain and inexorable but the duration of the persecution depends on us . . . it depends on our testimony of faith and of courageous defense of truth.”

The Hidden Story behind Traditionis Custodes

“Nothing is hidden that shall not be made manifest, nor anything secret
that shall not be known and come to light” (Lk 8:17).

Sometimes things are not as they seem. And sometimes, there are two “realities”: one that is officially given by those in power, and one that we then discover to be the truth.

Dear Friends:

Eric Frankovitch and I are very pleased to announce that this year’s CIC in Pittsburgh, PA, exceeded all expectations. With some 700 attendees on hand over the three-day event, the CIC provided all of us here at The Remnant with an incredible “shot in the arm” that inoculated us all against the twin pandemics of Modernism and Globalism. The conference was made up of not only seasoned veterans of the traditional Catholic movement, but also an unexpected influx of new recruits, including hundreds of young people, students, and families who have only recently discovered the Traditional Mass.

Australia's freedom fighter, Monica Smit, addressed the Catholic Identity Conference with an empowering message from which we can all benefit: No one is too small or too weak to make a difference. With God, all things are possible.

Michael Matt explains how the Build Back Better sabotage of America is directly impacting deliveries and construction work on the new RTV studio project.  Lumber, supplies, even food is in short supply all across the country, as some 70 cargo ships off the coast of California are not allowed to unload their cargo.

What’s going on?

I expect to die in bed, my successor will die in prison and his successor will die a martyr in the public square. His successor will pick up the shards of a ruined society and slowly help rebuild civilization, as the Church has done so often in human history. ― Cardinal Francis George

SOCIALIST REVOLUTIONARIES GRABBED control of Mexico.

Religious persecution descended upon the country’s Catholics who resisted the atheistic ideology pushed in legislation concocted by political authorities scheming to outlaw the Church and Her traditions.

The Leon Martyrs

By:

The two rows of colonnades which frame St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican were designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini to resemble arms outstretched in welcome. (https://vatican.com/St-Peters-Square-Colonnades/) The Catholic Church is universal and open to all who seek salvation. At the base of the Statue of Liberty in New York City is a secular version of this sentiment: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore.” (https://www.nps.gov/stli/learn/historyculture/colossus.htm) For the Church, however, there are no “masses,” no “teeming” throngs of faceless proletariat. There are individual sinners, and the Church is Christ seeking out the lost sheep, calling everyone home by name. Everyone may knock on the doors of the Church and seek baptism, forgiveness, and the bread of everlasting life.

head shot icon MikeDear Friends:

This year’s Catholic Identity Conference sold out months ago. With over 700 attendees and 15 speakers, this will be the largest Traditional Catholic conference of 2021.

I want to invite you to the CIC Livestream, which will include interviews, personalized greetings and updates for our Livestream viewers ONLY. Please keep in mind this is not an online Zoom conference. This is an actual conference, with speakers flying in from around the world and technicians that will produce a high-quality online experience for those who are not in attendance.

In addition to real time viewing of all talks, Livestream viewers will also be able to interact with the conference by sending email questions and comments to me directly, as I will be serving as emcee throughout the entire weekend.

Daily conference Masses will be part of the package.

One of Remnant TV’s recent videos featured Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. discussing his forthcoming book, The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health. The entire discussion warrants attention but one of his main points focused on a dilemma that is especially important to faithful Catholics: what do you do when an apparent authority demands that you act in a way that conflicts with your conscience and common sense?
