Barros Protest outside Cathedral March 21, 2015-Osorno,Chile

“It is the Argentine attitude: Suppress and ignore”  V.S.Naipaul, The Return of Eva Peron

In the summer of 2011, the Puyehue Volcano near the Chilean city of Osorno, erupted sending a cloud of ash billowing into the Chilean skies and blanketing the farmlands with cinders. Perhaps Mother Nature was prescient, anticipating the upcoming volcanic reaction by Osorno Catholics to the appointment of the much despised and discredited Bishop Juan Barros by Pope Francis in March 2015.

I love them innocently, says God.
That’s the way you should love these innocents.”   ~Charles Peguy

From all corners of the universal Church, hundreds of clergy abuse survivors gathered recently at the16th Annual SNAP Conference held in Chicago describing their gut-wrenching childhoods of sexual molestation by clerics. A haunting aura dominated the conference: Pope Francis’ unwillingness to tr uly reform the Church and protect children by punishing predators and their protectors.

Is this the Pope of Mercy?

“Never let anyone know what you are thinking.”
~Mario Puzo, The Godfather

Darkness descended onto Piazza di San Pietro into the evening hours of March 13, 2013, as the successor to the resigned Benedict XVI, was introduced to the Cat holic Church.

Invited onto the balcony, a mere arm’s length from the new Pontiff, Cardinal Godfried Danneels surveyed the massive crowd during the announcement of the papal election of Jorge Bergoglio. There, on the Loggia of St. Peter’s, he stood, sending a message with his smug triumphant gaze.

“The sin of the century is the sin against the child. More children have been willfully killed by adults during the last hundred years than in the whole preceding history of the human race."  ~John Saward, The Way of the Lamb.

The Synod on the Family is dominated by talk of homosexuals, accompaniment, divorced adults, remarried adults, decentralization, but barely a mention of the divine purpose of family: children.

Like barren Europe, children are missing at the Synod on the Family.
Conscience is King! And Ignorance is Bliss!

Chicago’s Windy City Prelate Blase Cupich divines that the conscience is inviolable and reigns supreme in all things theological.

In an interview with the National Catholic Register’s Edward Pentin, Archbishop Cupich, the personal appointment of Pope Francis to the Family Synod  said when it comes to giving holy Communion to civilly remarried divorcees, people need to “come to a decision in good conscience” and that the Church’s job is to “help them move forward and to respect that.”

Jeffrey Sachs

“The real secret of magic lies in the performance.”
 ~David Copperfield

He’s Back!

Jeffrey Sachs, the UN’s Mr. Sustainable Development, returns for his 6th repeat environmental performance at the Vatican’s Pontifical Academy of Social Science (PASS), as the master illusionist of the UN Sustainable Development shell game.

On July 22nd, Sachs will perform his magic at the Vatican’s latest leftist political convention for radical politicians, like NY Mayor Bill DeBlasio (friend of Jeff Sachs) and Governor Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown. Several other U.S. Mayors are expected to attend this political theatre as the Vatican confers its final blessing on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

“The tongue cannot claim to be ignorant of what the teeth are doing.”  ~African Proverb.

The battle continues to rage between the Vatican’s population control experts who support Pope Francis’ environmental agenda, and the Catholic pro life movement. The Pontifical Academy for Social Sciences (PASS) serves as the battleground, where its Chancellor, Bishop Sanchez Sorondo continues to defend the Academy’s reliance on virulent abortion proponents, like Jeffrey Sachs of the Director of the UN Sustainable Development Network. Bishop Sorondo defended the choice of his experts by stating that they were participating “on the questions of climate change and modern slavery” and that abortion was not mentioned during the conference. His weak defense is reminis cent of the African proverb, “Much silence makes a mighty noise.”

The Church knows that honest debate must be encouraged among experts.”~Laudato Si, Pope Francis

Throughout Laudato Si, Pope Francis states that he is open to a debate and a dialogue on the environmental issues raised in the encyclical. In fact, nearly 21 times in the body of the encyclical, Francis urges for dialogue among religions, ideologies and people. The Pope also calls for a debate on the environment solutions some 12 times in the encyclical. Although he says he wants contrary opinions debated and presented, is that the reality at the Vatican and this papacy.

The very language of the encyclical exposes the real intent of the Vatican. In the first sentence of section 14 of the encyclical, the Pope calls for a “new dialogue” a “conversation” about the environmental challenges. Yet, by the end of that very same paragraph, the Pontiff arrives at a completely contrary position:

As a member of the Heartland Institute delegation that travelled to Rome to urge the Vatican to reconsider its embrace and adoption of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development radical agenda, Pope Francis’ Laudato Si Encyclical validates my greatest fears.

Throughout the last two years, in preparation for the encyclical rollout, the Vatican has relied solely upon global warming alarmists in its rush to judgment to meet the UN 2015 Sustainable Development Goals’ timetable.   Additionally, during this process, the Vatican consulted primarily with and continues to rely upon radical population control proponents who exploit discredited climate change science to justify their extremist population reduction policies under the nuanced UN ‘reproductive sexual health’ rubric.
