This new book from The Remnant Press reveals everything you need to know about Freemasonry and its war against the Church, the Family and Catholic social order!

The Church’s negative judgment in regard to Masonic associations remains unchanged since their principles have always been considered irreconcilable with the doctrine of the Church and, therefore, membership in them remains forbidden. The faithful, who enroll in Masonic associations are in a state of grave sin and may not receive Holy Communion.

With Christianity under fire in all quarters today, and an anti-Christian, anti-life and anti-family political order rising from the ashes of old Christendom, it is hardly difficult to observe the final stages of the crucifixion of the Mystical Body of Christ being brought on through the aegis of secret societies condemned by pope after pope for nearly 300 years.  M. de Lassus’s book tears the mask off of Freemasonry to reveal the ugly visage of militant Christophobia.

From the Foreword

By Anthony Fraser

(Editor, Apropos)

Although M. de Lassus’s work primarily addresses the subject of Freemasonry from a French perspective, it also makes more than passing reference to the influence of Anglo-American Masonry.  Anglophone readers should not dismiss the French perspective as being of no import to the English-speaking world. The French experience reminds us that Masonry adapts itself to the environment it finds itself in, but that its aim remains the same – to de-Catholicize the world and destroy the natural order.

It is obvious to those of us who live in Britain or the USA that Masonry is connatural with the establishments of those States.  In recent years, in Britain at least, Freemasonry has been ridiculed in the popular press, and moves have been afoot to require certain public servants or politicians to declare publicly their affiliation to the Craft. These moves have not always been successful, and, in any event, one doubts whether they would serve any great purpose. We say this not because it would not be useful to know some of those in public life who are tied to the Craft, but rather because British society is so imbued with the principles and methods of Masonry that Masonry’s ends would continue to be arrived at regardless. The claim ‘American democracy, with its insistence on the inalienable rights and freedoms of the individual, is Freemasonry in government (…)’ applies equally to Britain.

Jean Madiran once observed: ‘Communism displays this essential distinguishing characteristic, that the co-operation which it most assiduously seeks, fosters and organises is that of auxiliaries who are not Marxists. Such is the cooperation which most efficaciously assists its real activity and is essential to its progress.’

Whereas Communists assiduously seek the support of useful idiots, Masons have assiduously infiltrated their ideas and philosophy into Western society to the extent that most of society comprises useful idiots serving Masonry’s purpose, including many Catholics.  It is for that reason that, in Britain, Freemasonry can afford to be ridiculed in the press, to offer more transparency, to open its doors and even to suggest opening its membership books for public scrutiny.  This smokescreen merely diverts attention from the Craft’s success in having made the West a coven of Masonic states.

Masonry’s avowed aim of de-Catholicising the world and destroying the natural order has been almost attained, and the process of secularisation gathers speed on a daily basis as the powers of Organised Naturalism consolidate their position.  We spoke recently to a priest who said, ‘I am sure that there is someone behind all this secularisation of society.’   He was not attempting to be particularly perceptive, he was merely making conversation, but his off-the-cuff observation, which seems common sense to us, is one that many refuse to consider because it smacks of paranoia and conspiracy theory.  The alternative world-view is that the systematic de-Catholicising and thus de-Christianising of society is a purely natural, accidental, evolutionary process.

The promotion of secularised education, divorce, abortion, contraception, euthanasia, homosexuality, sexual licence, civil marriage, civil ‘naming’ services,  destructive embryo manipulation, cloning, and  alternative ‘families’  is, we are told, merely a natural development of a civilised and modern society.  And it is purely accidental, of course, that all these changes arose from public opinion being manipulated by an increasing array of biased articles, or programmes, discussing hard cases or portraying the proposed change as the remedy to ‘wrong’, ‘harsh’ or ‘discriminatory’ laws or to remove ‘bigotry’ or ‘intolerance’ - the last terms being ill-disguised codes for any manifestation of, or support for, Christian morality or religious faith in public life. Needless to say it is also purely by chance that films and television increasingly portray mindless violence, pornography, infidelity, sexual licence and perversion, foul language, drug-taking and dysfunctional living, and that Catholicism, in particular, is mocked. Hamish Fraser, the Editor of Approaches, remarked:

In the Masonic-dominated West, the public must be kept in ignorance of the fact that moral decadence and ever-increasing violence derive primarily from the fact that Masonry has successfully imposed its will on society. Whether the Emperor be Communist or Masonic the fact of his nakedness must be ruthlessly suppressed. And, conversely, one of the most effective means of ingratiating oneself vis-à-vis those who control the media is loudly to pooh-pooh any suggestion that Masonry is either conspiratorial or militantly subversive of Christian faith and or morals. (…)

It was precisely because, even then, Freemasonry was seeking to promote divorce, moral permissiveness and the secularisation of education that Leo XIII called for ‘THE EXTIRPATION OF THIS FOUL PLAGUE WHICH IS CREEPING THROUGH THE VEINS OF THE STATE’. And because it pretended to be entirely otherwise he proclaimed: ‘WE WISH IT TO BE YOUR RULE FIRST OF ALL TO TEAR AWAY THE MASK FROM FREEMASONRY AND LET IT BE SEEN AS IT REALLY IS’: i.e. as being intrinsically subversive of the objective moral order.

M. de Lassus’s work is a valuable contribution to the task set by Leo XIII, explaining Freemasonry’s origins, organisation, philosophy, methods, and its influence on Church and State.
